The Stressful College life
We all dream about growing up and finish school and entering the university, to enjoy the place where there are no assignments, no memorizing, no instructions from the school director. However, all these dreams are shattered when we enter college, we didn’t know that college students have stress. College students face a lot of stress during their learning. Some of the major factors that can cause stress for them are financial issues, exams, and relationships.
Financial issues are considered as one of the problems which may cause stress for some college students. The economic situation of a family might affect the student’s process of learning because some families would face problems in paying tuition fees for their kids. This leads many students to consider the choice of working while studying to cover, and they aren’t able to cover all of the tuition fees. For example, my friend is a tutor, she is teaching students after her college studying to cover her college tuition fees, so it is very stressful for her to study and to teach children in the same way.
Exams are the major source of torture for many students. Unfortunately, exams are one of the ways that exam students skills and knowledge. For many students, exams could cause them to panic as if they are facing their faith. The overall state of depression caused by exams results mainly from the huge amount of studying that many students tend to leave till the last day or hour before the exam time. This cramming leads in many cases to an excessive feeling of anxiety that may result in the student's failure. For example, each time when I have an exam I feel if I am living the last of my life and I look at the books and start crying and tell myself that I am unable to finish all the studying and pass.
For college students, building relationships should be regarded as a two-edged sword. However, the social relation is in their daily life or out of it. In many cases, college students isolate themselves from their surroundings, so they are deprived of many family gatherings because of the assignments they have to finish. On the one hand, the students have to build many relations with their instructors since the instructors play a major role in helping the students. Teachers are either the head of student stress or they are the cure for the students suffering. For example by feeling with them when she delays the assignment to finish the exams or deleting some chapters for the exams. Stress that results from their attempts to create a network of a friend.
Finally, college years can be the happiest years in your life if you know how to balance your time according to your academic studying time. Moreover, all the fatigue, stress and suffering are to build your future, so everything will disappear when you graduate.
Educational Teacher Report
Observation plays a central role in practice teaching. The purpose and nature of observation, however, differ according to who practices in the observation process. Teaching is a complex and dynamic activity, and during the lesson many things occur simultaneously, so it is possible to observe all of them. But today we will focus more on the teacher rather than students because to have the best response we should feed the students a good stimulus, so the teacher is the mirror for the students that should give her students the great things to imitate.
Observation plays a major role in any comprehensive teacher evaluation system. They must help paint a fair and accurate picture of teacher’s strengths and development areas in the classroom.
Almost anyone can become a teacher, but it takes a special person to be a great teacher, but a great person, a teacher must rise above the crowd and making a lasting impression’s which characteristics make a great teacher?
Rayan Ramadan is a teacher for grade three; first, she is empathetic and sensitive to their student's needs. She overwhelmed by learning not just academic, but learning about themselves, she is patient understanding and available to talk. Second, creativity, which is a key to captivating a student. So often when someone reflects on their education, they remember when a teacher makes any activity in the class that involved more painting, games, and fun than to test their knowledge. Showing students something they haven’t known or the know it but she interestingly introduced to them stuck on student mind to the end of their life. Third, Dedication, teacher Rayan is dedicated to their students, it’s easy to be enthusiastic about teaching when things are going well but teaching isn’t always easy to like with any job, teachers occasionally have their bad days, but a dedicated teacher realizes the rewards of teaching are far more important. So, Rayan have a problem in her life, but I didn’t realize this in her class which surprised me let me surprised. Fourth, discipline, strictness with unpopularity. On the other hand, some adults look back on their education and remember their strictest teachers as some of their best. Rayan enforced rules without being too strict, Rayan knows their students potential to become great people and they inspire them to be just that.
As a school AlManahel School has a school uniform code that applies to dress, that all the teachers should wear Jolbab costumes, which have a dark blue color. The teacher can wear a colorful scarf as they want. So, Rayan always has a good appearance and smiles that grab the students. This teacher is a highly active one which let students active.
Teacher Rayan has a high level of education and experience. To pass on knowledge to her students, and she is competent to the knowledge that she has. And as she is an English teacher she knows the different types of learning, she can assess the learning that her students have done. She is competent by having a background in teaching and education. Also, the teacher is exploratory; she realizes the different leaning methods. Some learn by hearing, some by seeing and some by speaking, so she takes those into consideration in explaining her lessons and applying activities. The teacher knows that students haven’t enough language to worry about fluency, Rayan tends to focus on accuracy more than fluency but she always has a good mixture based on the student's needs.
On the other hand, teacher Rayan uses many ways to let the students gain information. One of the interesting ways is using her body language can support teaching and helps her get better teaching results. That student will be interested in learning English, more when she uses her body language. What’s more, students can learn to maintain long-term memory. This is a wonderful magic that body language has.
Furthermore, Rayan also uses another way to grab the student’s attention which is her voice, throughout changing it in the tasks that they apply, and also according to the student’s behavior. For example, when students didn’t know the meaning of a word the teacher shows it to them by doing gestures, also when the students answer they know that their answers are wrong or correct from the face of the teacher.
Despite those ideals, this teacher is organized. She has the accurate time to each thing so according to her experience and knowledge about the language and the students she is organized.
This teacher didn’t have a special place that she stays on it, she always moves all around the class. She always moves and inspires the energy for the students to be active and share during her class, the students always raise their fingers before they know the question, so the teacher always gives them positive feedback in spite of sometimes the students have wrong answers.
One of the most important aspects of teaching is building a relationship with your students, and this thing Teacher Rayan applies it. This thing influences how a child develops. She knows what pedagogical strategies work with her students; she knows the student's prior knowledge and builds on them. Also, this teacher knows what their students like example hobbies, experience. She adjusts the way she teaches based on how their students learn and what they take interest in. Also, she applied the suitable type of feedback to her students with it, and which types of errors she corrects.
Teacher Rayan provides and creates learning opportunities, encourages peer mentoring and discussion and encourage collaboration and sharing of knowledge, throughout their interesting activities that she does them. And through the activities, she works with them, not to tell them what to do.
In spite of, teacher Rayan is a facilitator she is in a position of power, teaching requires authority. She has the authority in the classroom. The concept of her power is a part of the curriculum and be known by students. Without power and authority, she may lose respect.
Teacher Rayan uses different strategies and methods to grab all the students’ attention. First strategy she uses the metacognitive development, that she provides the students with skills and vocabularies to use them. For example when they have an assignment about the vocab. The second strategy, bridging which establishes the student’s prior knowledge of the materials.

Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school-aged children that we should have good solutions to stop it.
II. Body
i. Definition.
ii. Examples.
i. Some effects
ii. Frequency of bullying in some places
c. Solutions for bullying to reduce it
i. Listing of some solutions
III. Conclusion: Bullying is a harm problem that is facing our society. For that reason, we should work on these solutions to reduce the percentage of bullying.
What Is Bullying:
Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among school-aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Both kids who are bullied and who bully others may have serious, lasting problems.
In order to be considered bullying, the behavior must be aggressive and include:
- An Imbalance of Power: Kids who bully use their power—such as physical strength, access to embarrassing information, or popularity—to control or harm others. Power imbalances can change over time and in different situations, even if they involve the same people.
- Repetition: Bullying behaviors happen more than once or have the potential to happen more than once.
Bullying includes actions such as making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically or verbally, and excluding someone from a group on purpose.
Effects of Bullying:
who witness bullying. Bullying is linked to many negative outcomes including Bullying can affect everyone—those who are bullied, those who bully, and those impacts on mental health, substance use, and suicide. It is important to talk to kids to determine whether bullying—or something else—is a concern.
Kids who are bullied:
Kids who are bullied can experience negative physical, school, and mental health issues. Kids who are bullied are more likely to experience:
- Depression and anxiety increased feelings of sadness and loneliness, changes in sleep and eating patterns, and loss of interest in activities they used to enjoy. These issues may persist into adulthood.
- Health complaints
- Decreased academic achievement—GPA and standardized test scores—and school participation. They are more likely to miss, skip, or drop out of school.
A very small number of bullied children might retaliate through extremely violent measures. In 12 of 15 school shooting cases in the 1990s, the shooters had a history of being bullied.
Frequency of Bullying:
There are two sources of federally collected data on youth bullying:
- The 2015 School Crime Supplement - PDF (National Center for Education Statistics and Bureau of Justice Statistics) indicates that, nationwide, about 21% of students ages 12-18 experienced bullying.
- The 2017 Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) indicates that, nationwide, 19% of students in grades 9–12 report being bullied on school property in the 12 months preceding the survey.
Six Simple Solutions to bullying:
1. If you are being bullied: tell them to stop, get away from the situation, and tell a trusted adult.
2. If you see someone being bullied, be an upstander: Tell the person to stop, get a trusted adult, reach out and be friends.
3. With your children: Listen and support your children. Work with the school to be sure your child is safe.
4. In Your School: Learn and help train all adults and youth on how to recognize and respond to bullying.
5. With Others Who Care: Start a Not In Our School Anti-bullying Club where youth lead in finding solutions.
6. In Your School and the Entire Community: Create an identity-safe climate where all people are respected.
To conclude, Bullying is harm phenomenon that is spreading in our society. We should to be careful and work on these to be safe from it. As a final word, everyone should work on these solutions to protect himself or his/her child from bullying.

Teaching Career
Careers are many, and each person in life can choose his career building on his interest. Of course, each one of us once he/she was a child he chooses a job to work with when he became older. My childhood career was teaching but what I didn’t choose at that time. After I had finished my school years of learning and I want to attend the university I choose to be an English teacher.
After dreaming, the dream had occurred and I had worked hard and hard to approach it. All the tired is gone when I touched my English major certificate.
I studied English for three years .throughout those years I learned that teaching is a very sensitive job, throughout this job we will obtain many new generations that will hold our message. So, we learned how to deal with students that most of them will learn English as a second language. Our aim was to let students absorb the message in an essay and an interesting way. And once the child absorbs the correct message he will never forget it.
Teaching is a beautiful career if we know how to use it. First of all you should love your subject to let students love your subject. And when we like our job we will be creative in giving our students the message. So, during those years of learning at university, I had taught effective new strategy and interest in learning.
Schools are not in jail. They will be heaven if teachers let students like it. Students are active in general and they hate the strategies of being receiving information without moving. Now, learning is different from before throughout our new knowledge by letting our students taking the information without their attention, by the activities and games that can be done easily.
Rather than those, from the things that I might never forget from my learning is practice. Practice let us remember. According to research tangible practice let students never forget the information. Teachers aim to keep information in the mind of our students.
Finally, teaching is like a seed if you plant it correct it will be a good plant. So; we should be aware of the way of giving our students the information to benefit from it.

What to Do Directions and Corrections
Key Idea: Give students specific, concrete, observable directions-in sequence-to tell them What to Do,as opposed to what NOT to do.When students don’t follow through on a direction , using WTD in our corrections is also important.
What to Do Directions and corrections should be:
- Specific & Concrete
- Observable
- Sequential
- Consistent for Regular Tasks
What to do keys Effective Delivery
Use as few words as possible
Deliver in is an even tone – for directions and corrections-so that students focus on and respond to your words, not your emotions
Students Success Requires Clarity
